Where do I pick up my bag?
The Paint the Port registration booth will be located at 22 E. Exchange St., the museum's new building.

What's in the bag?
Each bag contains all the supplies needed to paint your square.
​
-
5 cups of washable tempera paint (Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Black)
-
Chalk to sketch your design prior to painting
-
One 1 in. paint brush
-
One 3 in. paint brush
-
2 cups for filling with water (we will have sinks set up) to use to rinse brushes in between colors
-
2 popsicle sticks to mix paint colors

1 palette

What should I bring?
There is nothing "specific" that you need in order to paint. We recommend an extra set of clothes and wet wipes for your little painters.
All participants will receive a 1 in. and 3 in. paintbrush. You may bring additional brushes and supplies from home.

Sunscreen and kneepads are encouraged!

What time should I be there?
Any time between 4pm - 8pm, but you must be done painting by 8pm. Please plan on staying to enjoy Eats and Beats evening of music and food! Paint the Port participants will receive two tickets for Eats and Beats!

Why doesn't my bag include a shirt?
In order to lower the cost of registration and allow for more families to participate! Shirts can be added on at check-out or purchased day-of.

Where should I park?
Below is a map of available parking downtown. Parking is indicated by yellow squares outlining the lots. The blue, highlighted streets represent Paint the Port square locations. The green, highlighted building represents the registration location: 22 E. Exchange St., the museum's new building
